❤️💣 Mission: Compliment Time!

Compliment Time!

The Background

Okay guys, I'm giving you a break this week - today's mission is super super simple. I could say it's because I know everyone's been putting so much effort into these each week, but we all know that's not the truth . . . mostly it's because I just realized that it's Monday night and I need to assign a mission and I have a super busy week of work and I don't want to think about this for hours and also this is the longest sentence I've ever written in an email. Enjoy!

The Mission

Give someone a sincere and lovely compliment this week.

What? You're saying it's too easy??? Well you just earned yourself another two! Go ahead and give three compliments this week if you think it's that simple ;)

Feel free to reply and let me know what you did, and if you do, I'll tell you what I did.

Love Bomb

Every Tuesday I come up with an idea to make a difference for someone in a small, personal, creative way, then I send out that idea as a mission assignment to everyone in our group. Over the next week, we all spend 10 minutes to accomplish it in our own way for people in our own lives.

Love Bomb will be on indefinite hiatus for the time being. I appreciate you all being a...

Today (Monday night as I write this) is Christmas Day, and next week around this time is New Year's Day, so I'm taking the time off from love bombs. After that it'll be the end of the holiday season, and into the teeth of the long, cold winter. God willing we'll all see it through to the other side together :) It's been another weird year for me, full of stops and starts and big personal/career changes and more than a little stress. The kinds of things most people go through every five years...

From the Beginning The Background I just got back from taking a walk with my brother during a break in my work. It was a nice piece of downtime during this very busy month where I'm transitioning myself into a new (much more fun and creative) career as an AI developer. It made me realize that he's been there through all of my twists and turns, ups and downs, and personal growth over the years, and I'm thankful for him. The Mission This week, spend 10 minutes to acknowledge someone who was...
